This is the largest project we have undertaken, with several internal walls removed, every room taken back to plaster, rewiring from a new consumer unit, a new boiler and central heating system, a home cinema installation, internet and AV cabling, bi-fold doors dividing a continuous porcelain-tiled inside/outside floor, a floating bench, block-paved drive, and landscaped garden.
Impractical driveway, limited parking, and high-maintenance garden
White PVC windows sprayed anthracite with contrasting paving
Dated wood-effect built-in wardrobes
New doors in front of original carcasses conceal a TV and storage
Dark colour palette in a north-facing kitchen with one window
Kitchen knocked through into dining room and extended
8' high Leylandii hedge obscuring view, shed reducing sense of space
Circular planter, porcelain paving and floating bench with underlights
Dark furniture and mock-traditional fireplace
Art-Deco fireplace, sound-proofing, vertical radiator, home cinema
Dark furniture, with light reduced further by sun room to rear
Dining room knocked into kitchen and extended, designed for light
